This was not worth the time spent placing a hold. I'm glad I didn't spend actual money. It is unforgiveable to call this by the same name as the literary classic. Horrible writing, impossible leaps of logic and cheesy cliches abound. It’s a good movie to make fun of if you’re into mocking bad movies with friends. The effort to recreate the scenery and period costumes are wasted on seriously flawed screen writing and bad English accents. Aren’t Musketeers supposed to be French? “Oh, the humanity!” is screamed loud and clear once again in reference to air ships. This time, it’s due to the death of history and culture. Hollywood wipes its behind with the original novel and another classic is flushed down the toilet. Please someone redeem the modern age and recreate this novel with some class.
