I liked it mostly but was severely disappointed in the ending. No one ended with the people I wanted them to be with!

I enjoyed this book, but had to try to interpret the meanings of many phrases that are not common in English speaking Canada (of today). Even the title is difficult to decode without reading the book. I simply had to skim over many colloquialisms without understanding their intended meaning. I never had this much difficulty when reading any of Jane Austen's work.

Not Heyer's best, but a fun, frothy romp nonetheless.
