T, r, a, f, i and k are my favorite vowels and consonants. In college, I hung with the riff raff in the fart frat. I'll never forget the time we made a go-kart for the art fair. The kit kar didn't go far cos' we fueled it with tik taks and kit kats. Later, while stuck in traffik, some fat kat choked on tar inside his kar. He fumed foul air, it wasn't fair. My best bud Kit threw a fit and caused a tiff. When traffik cleared we ciao'd the meow and gassed the kat. It made our kart go rat-a-tat-tat.

Extremely interesting miniseries that aired in Great Britain in the late 80.s, and on PBS a year or so later. It basically traces the heroin start from the fields in Afghanistan (where they grow the opium poppies, which look really pretty), to the middle man dealer in Germany, to the final customer in England.
Funny thing about this series though is that there is no real villian. Everyone is doing what they have to do, from the farmer in Afghanisan, to the woman dealer is Germany right up to the addicted daughter of a British MP. The main characters are all connected without even knowing the existance of the others. Very well done, and much better than the Hollywood version.

Gritty and thrilling. Not to be missed. The movie version cannot hold a candle to this production.
