Children are a boundless source of joy. Most parents would agree that there's nothing quite like holding your newborn child in your arms for the first time. In fact, spanking your child only teaches them to behave out of fear of punishment instead of teaching them self-discipline. Children's sense of discipline should ideally be internal, rather than external, in order to ensure they grow well-behaved even when there is no risk of punishment.
