He's baaack! Sheldon is retrieved from his soul-searching cross-country train trip (older but no wiser) and that means the gang's all here to spread another year's cheer as TV's most attended laugh seminar. Enroll in this comic curriculum to explore Leonard's minor surgery becoming a major catastrophe from his roommate, Howard's obsession over his mom's relationship with retailer-turned-caretaker Stuart, and the peculiar results of Penny's technique as a pharmaceutical sales rep.

BBT lost it's way a long time ago. The geeky charm gave way to something akin to a pale version of Friends. Season 8 did make a few attempts at the old glory, but they jumped the shark with Pryia.

For me, the eighth season is when this series lost its appeal. It felt like the television equivalent of stale bread. For the past few seasons, THE BIG BANG THEORY has relied too heavily upon that last finale moment to draw in viewers next season. The other episodes all lack that oomph. In the eighth season, it's obvious that this tactic isn't going to die. Well, after a string of empty episodes, it's obvious that this tactic isn't going to die. Well, after a string of empty episodes that made me apathetic, that last-second attempt at a gasp this season made me irate. After eight years of watching, it's hard to call it quits, but this may be the end for me.
