The pictures are silly and well-drawn, but the author resorted to making up words so rhyme could be used.

We love this book. It has silly rhymes and bright fun pictures. We enjoy hiccuping along with the hippopotamus. It's a pretty short book which is nice if you don't have a lot of time.
