Too much drama. Otherwise fairly ok.

Bad show, acting , writing and characters uninspired. Plays like a prime time soap with a vigilante. Mostly it suffers from being approached like the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy: making a comic realistic and removing any fantastic elements, which is pointless considering the main appeal of a comic is the lack of reality.

This is by far in my top 3 favorite shows. It has nonstop action, drama, romance, and the occasional comedic scene. I love this show. P.s. Netflix has this show, both seasons, for like $9 a month. And no one can put a hold on it. Sorry library.

This show is amazing. Great character development, great storylines and strong female characters.

The action is non-stop and there isn't a lot of that lovey dovey mushy stuff that usually makes me want to gag.

I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly I was lost in the story. Lots of good characters and lots of things for the fans of the comic book. A must see if you are a DC fan. Sometimes the drama can get a little like a soap opera but then there is plenty of action to break that up. Watch it.

Interesting premise for a show, but this series suffers from uninspiring and lazy script writing. Dialogues are often flat and one-dimensional. Character motivations make no sense, and that includes the lead character. Too bad.

The first season of Arrow is a series based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. Oliver Queen is the billionaire son of businessman who died when his yacht was sabatoged. Oliver survived when the yacht sank but was marooned on a remote island in the China Sea. There Oliver struggled to survive for five years before returning to Starling City with advanced weaponry and fighting skills. Throughout the first season Oliver readjusts to his former life while fullfilling a promise to right his father's wrongs. Arrow is an action packed drama with excellent fighting scenes as well as great special effects.
