I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Very well written, reads like a novel with the added bonus that it's a true story. I highly recommend it.

I am sadly almost done the book, it has been such a great read. I read about a side to them I never heard before which changed my whole view of Bonnie and Clyde.
I highly recommend this book to those who want to know what they were really like and not the way they have always been portrayed. This is a favorite for me for sure.

A very readable account of the true events pertaining to Bonnie and Clyde. Not a romanticized version but just the facts... also a bonus, a very easy and enjoyable read.

By far the best book yet on this duo, Jeff Guinn really goes the limit with his research. Not only does he consult first hand accounts including family members, he gives a rare look at the time period to ensure the reader an understanding of the motive behind the crimes. While we may only have a mythological view, thanks to bad movies, of Clyde and Bonnie, this book will dispel the shadows with a straight forward and non judgemental account. In fact I would consider this the authority about their demise. It also includes the history of the family and friends that were left behind, some doing jail time (Clyde and Bonnie's mothers for instance) for harbouring criminals!
