This author is very literate and makes what might have seemed a lightweight subject into a book well worth reading. I'm enjoying it very much.

I loved this story- the thread of the plot was great and involved loads of interesting characters. The writing really evoked the era and geographical setting of the story. Beautiful and emotional.

The intent of this book was rather interesting, but it was all handled so lightly and not necessarily in a compelling way.
