The third book in the Janie Johnson series. At this point she has lived with her new family, the Springs, for quite a while and now misses her boyfriend from high school, Reeve, and goes with her new siblings planning to visit him at college in Boston. Reeve now struggling to find a place in his new school, takes a job as a radio host, without anything that is interesting to say he relates Janie's story to his audience, thinking it was harmless and that Janie would never find out anyway, but Janie wonders if her boyfriend is really all that trust worthy.

"The face on the milk carton" is first in this series, second is "Whatever happened to Janie" and third is "The voice on the radio" It was a huge disappointment to me to find out the rest of the series is by ebook only!! I can't read for hours on a computer, as I can a regular book, without getting an extremely bad headache. As avid a reader as I am, I can't see myself just reading maybe a chapter daily, to prevent a headache. I suppose I will look for the series on Amazon.
The three that I read are great books, with some surprising twists and turns. I really enjoyed them.

AMAZING BOOK!!! I really can't believe that Reeve traded Janie and the Springs out for popularity. And things where going so well for Reeve and Janie............. it's kind of sad, really.

This book is the third in the 'Milk Carton' series. It's about how Janie's boyfriend Reeve goes off to a college and does a radio prgram. He's learning the 'Dead Air' can kill you when for some reason he decides to spill Janie's kidnapp story over the radio. He's becoming really popular with his 'janie's' but he feels guilty about spilling her story but he still does. When Janie goes to Boston and finds out its sort of the end for Janie and Reeve. YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
