Good book, very touching.

Some old English might make the read too strange for a child younger than 10-12ish, but fine as a read aloud above age 5-6. The story line is a little one-dimensional, but it does have a touching moral about unconditional love.

I like this very much.We read this out loud in school when I was
in grade 4,and since we didn't get to
finish it I wanted to finish it.
