The Biggest Treasure Chest of All

The Biggest Treasure Chest of All

Our Natural Resources

Video Cassette - 2003
Rate this:
Pirates may have sailed the seas looking for treasure chests, but today's geologist know about the biggest treasure chest of all--our Earth. Earth contains a wealth of geologic natural resources, including minerals, metals, fossil fuels, and even rocks, which are used more than ever. Without the natural resources geologists find in Earth, we would not have coal for our factories, glass for our windows, salt for our food, gold for our necklaces. This program is a good introduction into the many ways we depend on resources from Earth in order to live the way we do.
