Fans of Vera will enjoy seeing Brenda Blethyn in a more genteel role pre-Vera. Doc Martin's Martin Clunes is there too, and the setting is a Cornish town. There are some good laughs, and it's all very good-natured, but the comedy wears a…

An absolutely fantastic, funny, heart-warming story that is a true testament as to the curves life throw and one's choices to overcome and triumph! Wonderful acting and story line, which is consistent with everything produced by Craig…

We got this as a shot in the dark and thought it was really good and really funny. Well acted although I did not like her in "Vera" at all. Her role was lots different in this one, thank goodness. Another version of the…

A must see for "Doc Martin" and "Vera" fans. It reminded me a bit of "Hot Stuff" if you can remember 1979 and Dom DeLuise and Suzanne Pleshette' silly romp, you may like this. A lovely way to spend an evening--I also recommend having a…

My mother loved it, and I loved it, though for slightly different reasons. Though few folk recommend discussing politics at a family gathering, this film may help break the ice on a topic worthy of consideration. The film celebrates…

Rated 7/10. Brenda Blethyn was definitely the star of this show and made it work into a pretty good comedy. Craig Ferguson couldn't have carried it off by himself.

Fun, clever, well acted, great story...and, best of all, it's British! Loved this movie!

If you like British humor, you'll like this film; otherwise, you won't. I loved Craig Ferguson and Brenda Blethyn in roles so different from where I've seen them the most (late night TV, or the BBC series "Vera"). It was lovely to have a…

There wasn't enough here to hold my attention. The plot could have been hilarious but the film eased into the pot business so quickly that all the acting afterward became too predictable. I didn't even bother finishing it.

What a gem of a flick! I have been a fan of Craig's for many years. I had no idea he had co-written and starred in this movie. I am so glad that I discovered it. This is a very light film with some major chuckle moments. After the tea in…

Fans of Doc Martin will enjoy seeing the similarities here, since this film was also set in Port Isaac. And, a young Doc Martin in this film is reportedly the character upon whom the spin-off was based, although not directly. Loved Brenda…

BORING. CAIG FERGUSON IS CERTAINLY NO WRITER, DIRECTOR OR PRODUCER. MY HIGH HOPES FOR THE MOVIE WAS DASHED. HARD TO UNDERSTAND DIALOGUE.

I've been watching "Doc Martin" on Netflix, and noticed that it was based on the movie Saving Grace, written by Craig Ferguson. So, I must see this movie. Have it on hold right now.

Some scenes of Saving Grace are hilarious and the rest of it is amusing, with a wink at the closeknit independence and interdependence of a village in Cornwall. The humour is British, so those who don't appreciate that variety may find…

This movie is a fantastic British comedy. It is not the first time I have watched it and I still laugh at the scenes. The tea scene is one of my most favourites. If you liked this one, you may like Waking Ned Devine and Death at a…

Wow - I just happened to search under 'Craig Ferguson' and up popped this hidden gem. Co-written, co-produced, and an exceptional performance by him, I might say. Brenda Blethyn was terrific as 'Grace', as was the supporting cast as well…
